NYCFC are 'hosting' Rochester NY in the Round of 32 in the US Open Cup. The game will be held at St. John's stadium, at home in NY.

Since NYCFC II managed to find a late winner against Rochester in MLS Next Pro, this could be an opportunity to rest the key players on NYCFC, and at the same time give some newcomers a chance.
How should NYCFC have their lineup? If I were Ronny Deila, I would try and find a strong balance of first team players and younger talent. In the back, I would start with Louis Barraza in goal, With Vuk Latinovitch and Thiago Martins at center-back. Then at the fullback position, I'd start Gloster on the left, and Jasson on the right. In the midfield, Ronny should start Justin Haak and Nicolas Acevedo, with Zelalam playing CAM. On the wings you have Gabriel Pereira and Talles Magno. At striker I would have Heber.

Substitutions? If we get a 2 goal lead in the second half, Ronny should bring on Kevin O'toole, and see what he could do. I'd also sub on Tayvon Gray for Talles Magno, and move Jasson to winger. My prediction is that NYCFC should get the win!
